ROUTE ON MY RADAR
EuroVelo 12
I’m starting to plan my route for this summer. I want to go from Scotland to Slovenia.
EuroVelo 12 would take me from the top of Scotland to the bottom of England.
Here’s what I’d be getting myself into.
Just the UK section of EuroVelo 12. The full EuroVelo 12 goes from Scotland to Norway.
1,250 miles (2,011 km) with 48k feet (14.6k meters) of climbing
Hugging the jagged east coast of the United Kingdom
Quaint towns, expansive coastline, lots of green
EuroVelo has a network of 19 cross-Europe routes through most European countries. Find all the routes and countries at eurovelo.com

WHAT I’M WATCHING
The Great Southern Country
Ultra-endurance beast Lachlan Morton set the record for the fastest time to bike around Australia in October. Thankfully for us, a documentary crew filmed the whole thing, and the epic film dropped on February 18th.
